Job Description
The MA must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care in accordance with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Scope of Practice.
The practice of practical nursing (LPN) means the performance of those services that incorporates caring for individual patients in all settings through nursing standards recognized by the MN Board of Nursing at the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice nurse, or other licensed healthcare providers.
The RN is skilled in all phases of the nursing process and possesses leadership qualities to direct assigned patients and personnel. The RN is competent to provide care to patients including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
