Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add an Internal Traveler Cardiovascular Technologist to our Cath Lab at Baptist Jacksonville, located in Jacksonville, FL This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. This position is part of Baptist Medical Center's Internal Traveler progam. 12-week contracted position working four 10-hour shifts from 6:30am to 5:00pm.

**Premium hourly rate**

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist, you will be responsible for: 

• Performing diagnostic imaging and procedures
• Assisting in electrocardiograms, catheterizations, and pulmonary functions
• Preparing EP Lab for the acceptance of cardiac patients.
• Performing technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring, and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, and peripherals.

Experience Requirements:

• Less than 1 year Cath Laboratory Experience
• Experience working at another hospital

Education & Credential Requirements: 

• Associates of Arts Required
• Bachelors Degree Preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or
