Position Summary The Maintenance Assistant - Auto Electrician (HME) is a support role responsible for assisting qualified HME Auto Electricians in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and electronic systems on the heavy mining fleet (e.g., Cat 777/789 Haul Trucks, large excavators, and dozers). This position focuses on providing essential manual and technical support, including battery bank maintenance, wiring harness routing, lighting system repairs, and tool management. While not a fully qualified artisan, the Assistant is expected to develop foundational HME electrical skills while strictly adhering to high-voltage safety protocols and the directives of the technical team.
