
American Learning Center Site Manager - Tbilisi, Georgia
Job Description
American Councils Georgia’s American Learning Center (ALC) is seeking an in-person Site Manager based in Tbilisi to drive enrollment growth, manage part-time staff and teachers, and oversee daily operations. This role reports remotely to the ALC Manager and offers:
- A results-oriented role with real ownership over site performance
- Autonomy to shape pricing, product offerings, and partnership strategy
- Full support and onboarding from ALC leadership
- Opportunity to grow a language center from early stage into a thriving operation
Enrollment & Growth (50%)
- Identify and develop B2B partnerships with local businesses, institutions, and organizations serving the expat and international community
- Prepare and present partnership proposals; negotiate and close agreements
- Establish and grow ALC's community presence across expat networks and local professional groups
- Manage lead generation, conversion, and follow-up
- Create and publish social media content (3–4 posts per week)
Operations & Management (40%)
- Own the class schedule end-to-end
- Recruit, onboard, and maintain quality standards for teachers
- Supervise administrative staff
- Drive student retention and re-enrollment
Reporting (10%)
- Deliver a weekly update covering enrollment, revenue, pipeline status, and key decisions made
- Permission to live and work in Georgia.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Georgian; Russian advantageous.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Outgoing, sales-oriented personality; comfortable in expat-facing environments
- Digitally fluent with proven ability to manage people and schedules
- Likely background in hospitality, tourism, coworking management, or small business operations
