Waste Equipment Operator Non CDL - G116 - Pine Grove Landfill - Part Time

This position is responsible for operating a refuse collection truck or other solid waste equipment. Maintaining the operator level maintenance as well as the pre-operations and post operation checks. Supervises inmates used in the collection process, writing disciplinaries for rule infractions and poor work performance. Assists Waste Collections, Recycling Collections, Sanitary Landfill, and/or the Recycle Center. Distributing carts; placing stickers on cans. May supervise inmates. Operates zero-turn lawn mower, articulating dump truck, landfill compactor, bull dozier tractor with bush hog, hydroseeder, weed eater and computerized motor scales.
