Education Specialist
Job Description
Who We Are
CTI has been a leading Audio-Visual provider for over 37 years. Since 1988, our mission has stayed the same: to provide a fantastic customer experience.
At CTI, our greatest asset is our people. We know that some of the best employees don’t always fit a “traditional” mold, and that’s exactly what makes our team special. If you’re dependable, friendly, and take pride in doing great work while enjoying the people you work with, you may fit right in.
We’ve built a workplace that’s supportive, collaborative, and genuinely fun. You’ll find Nerf battles, the occasional dance-off, and plenty of laughter mixed in with meaningful work and cool technology. We know when to goof off and when to focus and get the job done. Our customers always come first, closely tied to safety and to having fun while we get our work done.
So… Where Do You Fit In?
We’re looking for an Education Specialist to join our Employee Experience Team at our corporate office in Maryland Heights, MO.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others succeed, loves organization, and takes pride in being the go-to person for learning, onboarding, and training support. Your attitude, work ethic, and people-first mindset will directly support our mission of delivering a fantastic customer experience, and that starts with our employees. We’re a full-time, in-office team—and if you enjoy being surrounded by people, energy, and collaboration, you’ll feel right at home here.
If you’re enthusiastic, approachable, detail-oriented, and ready to embrace new challenges, we’ll provide the training, support, and environment you need to thrive.
What Will You Do?
You’ll play a key role in supporting employee learning and development across CTI. Responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining CTI‑U, our employee education portal
- Enrolling employees in training programs
- Tracking course progress and completion
- Coordinating with trainers and learning partners
- Generating reports on course completion and learning outcomes
- Assisting employees with portal access, troubleshooting, and general questions
- Making sure training content stays up to date and relevant
- Scheduling and facilitating company training events
- Supporting end-to-end new hire onboarding coordination
- Serving as a backup for weekly new-hire orientation sessions
- Jumping in to help with other projects as needed—because teamwork matters here
Will You Fit In?
You probably will if:
- You genuinely enjoy being part of a team and don’t just want to “clock in and out.”
- You can work independently, but aren’t afraid to ask questions when you need help
- You communicate clearly and comfortably—both in writing and in person
- You’re passionate about learning and enjoy sharing knowledge with others
- You’re flexible, positive, and ready to handle whatever the day throws at you
Does Experience Count?
Yes—but attitude and aptitude matter just as much.
What we’re looking for:
- 2–3 years of experience in education, training, or a related field
- Experience in administrative, learning management, or LMS-support roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools
- Proficiency in video editing
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and tackle new challenges with confidence
What’s in it for you?
At CTI, we know our company’s success is directly correlated to the success of our employees. So, it’s fitting that we thrive on and encourage employee growth, both professionally and personally.
Our competitive compensation package includes:
- Base salary $45k-$55k+/yr (DOE).
- Employer-matched medical, prescription, and dental insurance. Vision insurance (available after 60 days of employment).

- Monthly bonus eligibility that is based off a results-oriented incentive plan (after 3 months of employment).
- A graduated PTO program, all major holidays off, and three “floating” holidays are available upon your first day of employment.
- Special gifts for significant life events, such as marriage, childbirth, and house buying.
- Cell phone reimbursement plan.
- Long- and Short-Term Disability 100% paid by CTI.
