LOCATION: Territory: Northern VA

FULL TIME: Benefits eligible

SALARY RANGE: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00

Sunrise Medical Laboratories is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a background in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, clinical laboratory services, or broader healthcare sales who thrives in a relationship-driven, consultative environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding our market presence, strengthening client partnerships, and driving revenue growth while representing a trusted name in laboratory services.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate new business using proven sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth

  • Manage and grow an assigned territory, developing both new and existing accounts

  • Build strong relationships through regular face-to-face client interactions and ongoing engagement

  • Assess client needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and client advocate within Sunrise Medical Laboratories

  • Identify challenges and proactively present solutions to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

  • Expand territory revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities

  • Increase revenue within existing accounts by introducing new testing services and solutions

  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

  • Act as a key liaison between physician clients and internal teams, delivering exceptional customer service

  • Conduct product and IT solution demonstrations for prospective and current clients

  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting, including call activity, pipeline tracking, and prospecting efforts

  • Support regional sales initiatives and contribute to overall team success

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Proven outside sales experience, ideally within:

    • Pharmaceutical sales

    • Medical device or equipment

    • Clinical laboratory services

    • Healthcare-related solutions

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work independently while managing a dynamic territory

  • Valid and clean driver’s license
