Job Title: Quality Auditor manager
Job Description:
Job Summary: The Quality Auditor Manager oversees the utility damage prevention program and leads a team of QA technicians. This role ensures the accuracy of underground utility markings, manages client relations, and enforces strict compliance with industry safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise field auditors. Oversee technicians performing quality audits on completed locating tickets.
· Review escalation logs. Handle serious field concerns communicated by auditors immediately.
· Enforce compliance. Ensure all staff follow safety practices and marking standards.
· Manage workflow. Direct daily schedules to balance audit volumes across utility clients.
· Approve documentation. Verify e-sketch accuracy, photo logs, and screen captures.
· Audit billing codes. Ensure accurate status and billing code entry for clients.
· Analyze data. Identify error trends in complex urban infrastructure locates.
· Implement training. Develop corrective actions based on field audit findings.
· Approve documentation. Verify e-sketch accuracy, photo logs, screen captures, and damage investigations.
· Ensure prompt response to damage notifications, maintain accuracy of reports, and guarantee all reports are submitted in a timely manner in alignment with customer expectations.
· Proactively identifies operational risks and confidently challenges leadership directives to ensure alignment with company goals.
· Leverage analyzed data to build presentations for internal training and customer-facing reviews.
· Assist with other tasks as needed to meet operational and customer requirements

Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED certificate
· Valid driver’s license
· 2+ years of experience in the locating industry Essential skills and experience:
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to read and interrupt prints at a high level.
· Multiple years locating and pipeline technician experience.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work smoothly with citizens, company, contractor representatives, and customers
· Good organizational skills to be able to handle many varied tasks at once
· Knowledge and understanding of safe worksite practices
· Experience with the construction and installation of below grade infrastructure and basic maintenance of industry standard locating equipment
· Working within and utilizing existing utility standard designs
· Experience with complex urban underground utility infrastructure and serving as firm/client liaison
· Reviewing design drawings created by others
· Residency in Ohio is preferred, with a requirement for regular travel throughout the state.
