
Coalition Interoperability Specialist
Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking a Coalition Interoperability Specialist to help establish, maintain, execute, and facilitate USCENTCOM’s Command and Control Interoperability Program (C2IP).
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop methods, procedures, and techniques to support secure communications interoperability between U.S. Forces and USCENTCOM Regional Partners in support of USCENTCOM’s Theater Strategy and USCENTCOM’s Theater Security Cooperation Strategy objectives.
- Serve as C2 Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Planner for Partner Nation (PN) country specific C2 interoperability related staff packages.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, execute, and facilitate cross-command and Regional Partner interoperability conferences, programs, and special working groups, in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Participate and provide guidance and direction in DoD agencies, HQ USCENTCOM, and other major commands meetings, panels, study groups, work groups, and other planning activities regarding assigned mission and functions.
- Liaise with other USCENTCOM directorates, external components, agencies and program offices, Ministries of Defense, and Security Cooperation Offices to support Coalition partner engagements, Command and Control Interoperability Boards (CCIB), Secure C2 Interoperability Working Groups (CIWG), and other events as required.
- Coordinate the resolution of CCIB and CIWG action items through collaboration with the USCENTCOM staff and outside agencies.
- Provide SME guidance to Implementing Agencies, staff, and other organizations on the procedures and processes for the identification, release, and use of U.S. MIL-STDs and secure communications in the CENTCOM AOR.
- Prepare GO/FO-level official correspondence (Ghost Emails, Executive Summaries, Information, Position, and White papers, etc.) relating to engagements, Communication Interoperability and Security Memorandum of Agreements (CIS MOA), COMSEC, FMS cases, Third Party Transfers, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)/Export Compliance, and planning efforts such as OPLAN/CONPLANS, Theater Campaign Plans, and Security Cooperation Country Plans.
