Southern Devall (Louisiana) is currently looking for inexperienced deckhands. Southern Devall brings over 120 years of experienced backed by more than 230 barges, 70 towboats and the expertise of over 700 mariners company wide. Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License
• Valid TWIC Card
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass pre-employment Non-DOT Physical and Drug Screen
• Social Security Card, Birth Certificate or Passport 

Job Duties:

The deckhand is responsible for assisting with the labor required to load and discharge barges according to the cargo transfer procedures in a safe and efficient manner. The Deckhand is also responsible for conducting daily routine vessel maintenance, safety equipment inspection and good housekeeping while maintaining clean work areas and equipment.
