Install and route electrical wiring, cables, sensors, and components per electrical schematics and build documentation.
Build and install plumbing and fluid delivery systems, including stainless steel tubing, Swagelok fittings, flare fittings, and Teflon tubing.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and plumbing diagrams to execute builds accurately.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly, fitment, wiring, and plumbing issues during the build process.
Identify and communicate discrepant parts, documentation gaps, and design issues to engineering and supervision.
Accurately document build process, changes, and issues in assembly manuals and production logs.
Support tool builds from initial assembly through mechanical completion, ensuring systems are ready for downstream activities.
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to maintain build schedules and workflow efficiency.
Occasionally lead or coordinate portions of the build process, assigning tasks and supporting less experienced technicians.
Support the handoff of completed tools to the next production stage or shipping team once mechanical and assembly work is complete.
Follow all safety procedures while assembling and working on equipment (lockout/tagout, safety logs, bypass tags, etc.).
