The estimated base salary range for this role is $91,000 to $114,000 per year.
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors
Electrical Reliability Engineer
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and manage key electrical systems and processes, including:
Plant HVAC
Spare motor program (tracked through SAP)
Instrument calibration and transformer PM processes
Thermal PM and PCT training processes
Lead and execute the Electrical DT Corrective Action Plan, including creation of One-Point Lessons
Maintain and manage PLC program historian processes
Create and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD
Develop, create, and manage electrical work orders, PMs, and BOMs in SAP
Supervise and coordinate craftsmen and contractors; serve as backup support as needed
Support planning activities and serve as backup for planning functions
Participate in operational working sessions to drive continuous improvement
Analyze downtime and maintenance data to identify reliability improvement opportunities
Support and participate in RCFA (8-Step) problem-solving processes
Attend and contribute to:
Daily production meetings
Outage planning meetings
Partner cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
What Will Make You Successful
Strong understanding of electrical maintenance systems (PM, PdM, CBM)
Ability to analyze process and downtime data to drive improvements
Experience applying root cause problem solving (RCFA, FMEA)
Solid knowledge of PLCs and industrial electrical systems
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective communication and ability to collaborate across teams
Hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
What Makes You Stand Out
SAP experience for maintenance and work order management
Lean / Continuous Improvement experience or certification
Reliability Engineering experience
Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, ultrasonic, etc.)
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
Experience leading improvement initiatives or capital projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical drawings and updates
Experience coordinating contractors and cross-functional teams
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
