WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsible for the research, development, design, production, and distribution of technical training materials used by regional and corporate training staff for the Hyundai Brand.
- Lead and oversee a team of skilled professionals in the creation and delivery of high-quality online training programs for automotive technicians.
- Play a crucial role in ensuring that our technical training content remains up-to-date, engaging, and effective in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our target audience.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical training designers, setting clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative culture that supports continuous learning and professional growth.
- Oversee the design, development, maintenance, and deployment of just-in-time and web-based technical training content.
- Ensure training materials are accurate, relevant, compliant with industry standards, and validated through rigorous quality assurance.
- Partner with Regional Training Managers, subject matter experts, and global stakeholders to identify training needs and enhance curricula.
- Lead the instructional design process to create engaging, interactive learning experiences for diverse learning styles.
- Integrate multimedia, simulations, and interactive activities to improve learner engagement and comprehension.
- Stay current with automotive technology, e-learning trends, and emerging training tools; evaluate and implement new technologies.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and reporting to ensure on-time delivery of training initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to ensure seamless execution of training programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, learner feedback, and performance metrics.
- Analyze data to measure training impact on technician skills and performance, driving continuous improvement.
- Identify issues in course development, recommend corrective actions, and solve content-related challenges.
- Determine appropriate delivery methods for course content.
- Monitor vendor performance, cost-effectiveness, and assist in vendor selection.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Six or more years of experience, with at least three years of directly related experience in automotive technical operations.
- Strong understanding of automotive technology, repair procedures and industry standards.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and multimedia development software.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Proven experience in instructional design, online learning, and content development preferably in the automotive or technical training industry.
- Two or more years of supervisory experience desired.
- Excellent time management skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to enhance training programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
- Compensation Range: $86,800 - $124,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
