JOB TITLE: IT Lead Analyst HCM - Workday Talent Management and Learning

WORKSITE ADDRESS: 2 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL 60069

ANNUAL SALARY: $175,100.00/year

NUMBER OF HOURS/WEEK: 40 hours/week

REMOTE/TELECOMMUTING POSITION: Remote work benefit available. Employee can work from anywhere in the U.S.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Workday Talent Management and Workday Learning Management system. Play a critical role overseeing the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business units, to understand talent management and learning requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Design and architect solutions using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other reporting tools while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements, oversee deployment of system upgrades, and propose innovative solutions to optimize the performance management process, drive automation, and improve user experience.

  • Lead configuration of Workday security segments, user-based security groups, role-based security, etc.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Workday learning application, providing technical support and recommendations for improvements, and troubleshooting LMS-related issues.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system configuration, design documents, process workflows, testing plans, and implementation guides.

  • Monitor Workday Talent and Learning applications performance, provide technical support, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Stay current with Workday updates in Talent and LMS and industry trends to provide innovative solutions and enhancements to existing applications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Sciences, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Will accept a combination of degrees/education/diplomas determined by a qualified and professional evaluation service to be the equivalent of the required bachelor's degree.  Requires 5 years of experience as an IT Lead Analyst HCM - Workday Talent Management and Learning or in a related role/capacity engaged in design, development, and deployment of Workday functionality.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires experience in the following:

  • 5 years of experience in Workday HCM design and configurations including performance management, learning management, reporting, and security.

  • 3 years of experience utilizing HR processes, data structures, and best practices in HRIS integrations and reporting.

  • 3 years of experience utilizing problem-solving skills to diagnose and propose effective solutions for Workday integrations related to performance management and learning.

  • 3 years of experience in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • 2 years of experience utilizing project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
