Job Description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a HR Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a Hybrid role from our office in Dorsten. You’ll play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, efficient people service across the region. Acting as a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues, you’ll handle a broad range of people queries, and provide expert guidance on employee relations matters.

What you’ll do as a HR Manager:

  • Provide day‑to‑day advice and guidance to managers and colleagues across the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance, absence, discipline and grievances

  • Act as a trusted HR stakeholder for managers across Germany, working closely with local leaders and regional teams to support with people matters

  • Act as an escalation point and mentor for People Services Advisors, supporting complex or sensitive cases where required

  • Own and deliver people administration and transactional processes across agreed business areas

  • Coach managers and colleagues on HR policies, processes and the effective use of Workday

  • Ensure local HR compliance, reviewing and maintaining documentation

  • Produce HR reports and data insights to support people processes and initiatives

  • Support the People Services Manager, People Business Partners and Centres of Excellence with project work, including works council activity

What you'll bring:

  • Solid experience across HR operations and the employee lifecycle

  • Hands‑on employee relations case management experience

  • Proven experience working with Works Councils

  • A strong service mindset, with the ability to build effective working relationships

  • Excellent organisation and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Commercial awareness, with an understanding of the impact people decisions can have on the wider business

  • Fluency in German and English languages
