Job Description
The Frederick Douglass Community Center is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly energetic person to work as an Arts & Crafts Specialist for our after school and summer camp programs. Under the supervision of the Content Specialist, the Arts & Crafts specialist will be responsible for teaching elementary and middle school students art activities based on program themes and seasonal holidays. The art specialist responsibilities include sourcing art supplies, preparing lessons, and providing developmentally appropriate instruction on art techniques. The art specialist should be able to encourage creativity and self-expression among participants.
