Resort Electrician

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Resort Electrician. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing facility electoral equipment and systems to ensure safe operations and quality. Additionally, respond to emergent guest calls, assist with special projects, and assist with performing preventive maintenance tasks.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and tests all electrical systems, sub-systems and equipment which includes disassembly, replacement, cleaning and repair.
  • Assemble and disassemble power and lighting equipment for sleeping rooms, exhibits, meetings and banquets.
  • Assist in developing and implementing plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds and other assets, in a safe and acceptable state of repair.

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Background consisting of at least 3 years of electrician experience in hotels, resorts, or tourism industry.
  • Trade school and/or related field certification required.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, sub-systems, and equipment required to assemble, disassemble, replace, clean, and repair.
