The VP of Data and IT provides executive leadership, strategy, and operational oversight for the organization’s enterprise application portfolio, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and data platforms. This role is responsible for aligning IT operations and data strategy to support clinical care, regulatory compliance, and scalable growth. You will lead enterprise application governance, oversee large-scale programs, drive interoperability, and ensure that systems are optimized to deliver efficiency, insight, and innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute enterprise IT and data strategy aligned with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives
- Lead and optimize enterprise application portfolio including EHR systems, analytics platforms, and integrated technologies
- Oversee cross-functional IT program management, ensuring delivery of strategic initiatives on time and within budget
- Drive interoperability and data integration across clinical, operational, and financial systems
- Establish governance frameworks, performance metrics, and accountability structures across application and data teams
- Lead Assistant Vice Presidents and senior leaders across application domains, ensuring alignment and collaboration
- Improve system performance, user adoption, and workflow efficiency through optimization and innovation initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance, data security, privacy, and risk mitigation across all systems
- Manage enterprise IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations
- Evaluate emerging technologies and guide adoption to maintain competitive advantage
- Lead disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and system risk management efforts
- Communicate strategy, performance, and risks to executive leadership and stakeholders
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field required; Master’s preferred
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
- 5+ years overseeing enterprise EHR platforms
- Experience managing multi-state healthcare systems preferred
- Proven leadership of senior managers or executive-level direct/indirect reports
- Experience leading enterprise application strategy, governance, and optimization
- Strong experience in IT program management and large-scale system implementations
- Behavioral health or integrated care experience preferred
- Experience with revenue cycle systems and digital transformation initiatives preferred

- Executive-level strategic thinking and decision-making capability
- Deep expertise in EHR systems, informatics, and enterprise applications
- Strong leadership and organizational management skills
- Ability to lead in matrixed, cross-functional environments
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in healthcare
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Strong financial acumen and vendor negotiation experience
- Proven ability to lead change and drive innovation in complex organizations
Employment Requirements:
Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
