Traveling Registered Veterinary Ultrasonography Technician (RVT) 

Travel Role – Multiple Hospitals Across Pennsylvania 

Community Veterinary Partners (CVP) is seeking an exceptional Registered Veterinary Ultrasonography Technician to join our highly collaborative, multi-specialty and emergency hospital network. This is a traveling role, supporting hospitals throughout Pennsylvania, providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services to our teams and patients.

About the Role 

The Traveling Registered Veterinary Ultrasonography Technician plays a critical role in supporting internal medicine, cardiology, emergency, and critical care services across CVP hospitals. Under the direction of a Radiologist, DVM, or Specialist, you will independently perform advanced imaging studies while maintaining the highest standards of image quality, patient safety, and collaboration. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Imaging & Diagnostics 

  • Perform abdominal ultrasounds and assist with interpretation and documentation
  • Perform echocardiograms, including image acquisition and measurements
  • Assist with interventional procedures as needed
  • Maintain and ensure quality standards for ultrasound and imaging equipment
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians regarding findings and image quality
  • Travel between assigned hospitals in PA to provide ultrasound services
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism when addressing client and team concerns

 

Education & Experience Requirements 

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)or graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
  • Veterinary Ultrasound Certificate Program or Diagnostic Medical Sonography Certificate preferred (RVMS or equivalent)
  • Ability to work independently, travel, and adapt to different hospital environments
