Job Description
1. Maintains chronological records in the daily log of events that occur
2. Coordinates resident sign in/out procedures;
3. Monitors resident work details and extra duty assignments
4. Ensures resident compliance with rules and regulations
5. Reports resident policy or rule infractions to the Administrative Staff and submits written documentation of these infractions to the Facility Director for appropriate disciplinary action
6. Administers breath tests, or obtain urine samples
7. Searches residents for contraband each time they return to the Center
8. Monitors resident curfew and wake-up schedules
9. Conducts inventory
10. Assists in resident intake
11. Supervises residents on Community Service Restitution project assignments and assists residents in problem solving
12. Monitors all areas of the facility for safety hazards, property damage and prevention of criminal activity
13. Conducts self in a professional manner with colleagues in the criminal justice system with offenders, with victims, and with the public.
14. Performs other duties as assigned
