Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Researcher. In this position, you will assess risks flowing from political and economic developments in the region that are of relevance to Eurasia Group's financial, corporate, and government clients. You will analyze the drivers of fiscal, monetary, and investment policies, with a particular focus on West and Southern Africa.
Required skills include the ability to conduct in-depth research independently, provide both clear written assessments and present analysis directly to clients individually and in group settings. You will therefore be a self-starter, have excellent analytical and presentation (oral and written) skills and be capable of producing multiple pieces of research and analysis under tight deadlines. In addition to being able to work independently, you will bring collaborative and team-oriented spirt.
You will have a degree in political science, economics or other relevant discipline, a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, including on-the-ground in the region. French and Lusophone language skills is a bonus. You must understand the relevance of your research to a broad range of investors and companies.
