Job Title: Medicaid Specialist - Onsite
Location: Springfield, MO
Department: Client Financial and Benefit Advocacy Services
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Job Summary:

The Medicaid Specialist manages will coordinate a high volume of data including client information. Serves as the primary point of contact for all Medicaid program activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functions in accordance with the system’s Operational Guidelines and within his/her professional code of ethics.

  • Serves as the point of contact for Medicaid clients that coming into the system’s CPRC services or are current CPRC clients.

  • Provides and/or coordinates a follow-up to all clients and/or their CSS to update on their Medicaid status, and obtain the information needed to process their application.

  • Is sensitive and responsible to client needs, such as data collection, development of Medicaid applications, maintenance of various aspects of the application process, etc.

  • Participates in all required meetings.

  • Regularly participates in evaluation of self.

  • Is responsive to all Quality Assurance procedures of the system, cooperates with utilization review procedures, and follows established procedures, rules and regulations of the Clinical Records Department.

Experience and/ Education Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma.
