BAM UK & Ireland's Infrastructure Segment is seeking a Business Administrator to support the Energy Networks (England and Wales) lead and operational teams at our Citypoint office.
Your team
- This role will be based in our City Point office in London with occasional travel to Wellingborough.
Making Possible
- Manage and maintain electronic filing systems and records.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping across the business unit.
- Provide high-level administrative support and clerical support to managers and site teams.
- Distribute memorandums, bulletins, and alerts to project teams efficiently.
- Maintain the regional SharePoint site, ensuring information is current and accessible.
- Work in line with established processes and procedures - Ensure administrative activities comply with organisational policies, governance standards, and data protection requirements.
- Deliver high-quality customer service in all communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update staff training records, ensuring accuracy on relevant databases.
- Support Senior Leadership and Operational teams with a range of administrative tasks.
- Manage complex diaries proactively, prioritising and maximising senior leadership time – prioritising tasks, managing competing demands, and making decisions on behalf of senior leaders where appropriate.
- Act as the first point of contact, building strong working relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prepare meeting materials, including agendas, minutes, and presentations in a timely manner
- Track and manage dashboards, reports, and key data.
- Attend meetings as required, recording minutes and ensuring actions are followed up.
- Coordinate and book travel arrangements efficiently.
- Organise and manage events such as workshops, conferences, and team sessions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times - Manage highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion, supporting leadership decision-making through effective information management.
- Collaborate with Business Support teams across the region.
- Undertake additional administrative duties or projects as required - Provide coordination support for projects, ensuring timelines, actions, and deliverables are tracked and completed.
- Financial / Budget Support - Support budget tracking, expense processing, and purchase orders in line with company procedures.
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and business needs.

- Proven experience in a Business Support role at Leadership level.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional manner.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
