Part Time Recreation Assistant- Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center (19hr/week)

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is excited add a Part Time Recreation Assistant to the team! This position will work approximately 19 hours per week and will be based at Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center and Second Ward Gym. The incumbent will assist with planning and implementation of recreation programs and activities. In addition, they will participate in membership promotions and enrollment, communicate facility policies to patrons, give tours of the facility and provide information to visitors. The selected candidate will also oversee the gymnasium when in use and keep patrons informed of operating hours due to special events. Typical hours for this position will vary but could consist of daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business and facility needs.
