A Transformation Trainer is the primary training resource for the Model Store Experience Initiative. This training will help stores simplify operations and grow sales through effective tasking & recognition. The Transformation Training Coach will be responsible for simplifying operations, improving customer experience and improving associate experience while driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Model Store Experience training plan that will successfully implement the change management bullets below:

    • Simplify day-to-day Operations: Optimize operations by automating or eliminating low-value tasks and reinvest in customer experience and growth-driving actions

    • Improve Customer Experience: Prioritize customer needs and improve key drivers of customer satisfaction such as cleanliness, availability, friendliness and speed

    • Improve Associate Experience: Digitize time-consuming manual tasks, provide greater role clarity, enhance skills, build ownership, strengthen teamwork and reward top performers

    • Drive Growth & Improve Performance: Prioritize sales-driving activities over other tasks and create performance transparency at store and associate levels to accelerate improvement

  • Ensures that all merchandise programs are implemented, including maintenance of proper stock levels, layouts and displays

  • Fosters an environment focused on good customer service, quality and cleanliness standards, and ensures execution of 7-Eleven polices and processes.

  • Advises management of applicable changes/additions and recommends corrective action as needed.

  • Coaches/develops Store Leaders on establishing plans to help them achieve goals

  • Evaluates and assesses core store functions, including ordering, product assortment and placement, store environment, and financial performance

Qualifications:

  • Consistently demonstrate 7-Eleven leadership principles and values.

  • Independent thinking and development of store specific training plans.

  • Strong knowledge of Retailer Initiative.

  • Ability to travel for long periods of time.

  • Ability to follow a structured schedule. (15 Day Block | Travel Day Out, 9 Days In-Store, Travel Day Home, 4 Days Off, Repeat Cycle)

  • Must possess a valid driver's license for car rentals.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Strong presentation and classroom management skills.

  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
