A great experience starts with a great team! Mid Penn Bank is actively seeking a Part-Time Courier to join our Halifax/Harrisburg Route. This position will average 2 shifts per week for a weekly total of approximately 4-8 hours.

Position Overview

The Courier is responsible for providing professional transportation services and performing a variety of duties relating to transporting employees or financial services related materials in order to support the daily activities of the organization while adhering to corporate, regulatory and audit guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides courier service between financial centers and administrative offices on a scheduled or as-needed basis.
  • Collects financial center office mail and other items; delivers to administrative offices.
  • Delivers supplies from the administrative offices to the financial center offices.
  • May pick up incoming mail at the post office; post outgoing mail on a Metered Mail Machine and may deliver outgoing mail to post office.
  • Maintains supplies and add postage and software updates as needed for the Metered Mail Machine.
  • May transport employees to various business meetings and events.
  • Load and unload materials, luggage, or other items.
  • Communicates all pertinent information including vehicle maintenance, safety concerns, and any noted security issues and/or concerns.
  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment, which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and compliance with all regulatory requirements; ensures that all office personnel adhere to the same. Manages risk by completing all mandatory compliance and regulatory training by the stated due date.
  • Plays an active role in protecting the organization and its customers against fraud by incorporating risk awareness and prevention into daily responsibilities
  • Performs tasks, which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Education & Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience required.
  • Excellent driving record.

Skill(s)

Basic reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 50 lbs. or less; visual, auditory and speaking skills; valid driver’s license is required.

Pay Transparency

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.
