What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing for approximately 3,000 employees across multiple entities and states
- Maintain and audit timekeeping systems; partner with managers to ensure timely and accurate time submission
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, filings, and reporting requirements
- Support payroll-related activities for new state registrations and ongoing compliance requirements
- Partner with HR Operations to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll data inputs
- Review payroll processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Prepare payroll and compensation reporting to support audits and business analysis
- Partner with Accounting on payroll reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger impacts
- Support year-end activities, audits, and other payroll-related projects as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state, multi-entity environment
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping platforms; ADP experience a plus
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment

- Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work a combination in office and at home on a weekly basis. This position is located at 1668 S. Garfield Ave, 2nd Floor, Alhambra, CA 91801.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $75,000 - $85,000 annually. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
