Summary:
As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, your day involves meticulously verifying that solutions meet the defined requirements and expected behaviors. You will design detailed test cases and execute them to uncover any inconsistencies or defects. Collaborating closely with delivery teams, you ensure that each release is dependable and ready for end users. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the overall quality and reliability of the software by continuously monitoring and validating the product throughout its development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects.
- Document and track defects clearly and work with developers to facilitate timely resolution.
- Assist in improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Clear2Pay.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Fiserv Enterprise Payments Platform, Test Automation Strategy, Payments Fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Ability to design comprehensive test cases based on user stories and requirements.
- Experience in defect identification, documentation, and tracking.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Clear2Pay.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
