Be part of something great! General Statement of Duties : The Application Analyst III evaluates system and user requirements in order to understand requests and changes. The Analyst provides support for clinical applications. The Analyst uses analytical and leadership skills to promote system optimization, promote best practice and reduce manual solutions. Essential Duties: Use an in-depth understanding of Ambulatory and Hospital EHRs, such as athenaOne and Meditech to configure features, admin tables, configuration items, and functionalities to efficiently troubleshoot application and workflow related problems. Employs problem-solving skills to address issues and support end-users. Ensures issues are escalated in a timely manner at both the vendor level and management level when appropriate. The analyst should be able to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues without extensive assistance. The analyst acts as a liaison with department leaders, providers, and other end users to assist with questions, concerns, and issues related to athenaOne. Develops Knowledge Base (KB) articles for other analysts to use for future issue resolution. Understands and promotes improvement through systems integration; Identifies and helps to implement integrations that can reduce manual workflows and workarounds. Evaluates application implementations and configurations to determine if the organization is maximizing capabilities and modules that are available. Attends training for clinical applications and attend seminars as needed to stay current on healthcare systems, regulation and best practices. Researches best practices in order to continuously improve processes for providing application support and implementation services. Participates in afterhours call rotation. Prepares and submits status reports to IT Management. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in related field required 6-8 years of related experience required, 8-10 years of experience preferred OrthoIndy is an Equal Opportunity Employer
