Job Description

What you will do

 

Sales & Distributor Support 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for international distributors, partners, and consultants. 
  • Provide remote technical guidance on product selection, configurations, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. 
  • Support distributors in preparing quotations, offers, and proposals for their local markets. 
  • Assist distributors throughout the sales cycle to refine proposals and support successful order closure

Quotations & Technical Documentation 

  • Prepare project-based quotations using approved configurators and pricing tools, in accordance with company guidelines. 
  • Customize technical documentation, specifications, and proposals for specific markets, tenders, or projects. 
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of configured project pricing; margin setting and commercial negotiations remain outside the scope of this role. 
  • Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, compatible, and compliant with internal and external standards

Project & Solution Coordination 

  • Track and manage project inquiries and sales opportunities using CRM or sales management systems, ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are clearly documented. 
  • Advise on multi-product and complex building projects, ensuring integrated solutions meet customer needs and specifications. 
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (product management, engineering, operations, order processing, and logistics) to confirm solution feasibility, availability, and delivery timelines.. 

Market & Post-Sales Support 

  • Share market insights, customer feedback, and competitive information to support product development and business strategy. 
  • Provide post-sales technical support as needed to ensure smooth execution and delivery of international orders.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned. 
  • Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents. 

 

What we require

 

  • Experience with building products, construction systems, or access solutions is an advantage. 
  • Previous experience in technical sales support, application engineering, or distributor-facing roles is preferred. 
  • Experience preparing or reviewing technical drawings/configurations for projects is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field
  • Ability to read, interpret, and verify technical drawings, specifications, and product configurations. 
  • Proficiency in project-based configurators for pricing or solution preparation. 
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing tools is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Experience with CRM systems for opportunity tracking and project coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus). 
  • Strong remote collaboration skills for interacting with international distributors and internal teams.
