Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist I is an early-career marketer who supports execution for cancer marketing and communications on behalf of Mass General Brigham. This role is designed to build a strong foundation in campaign execution, project coordination, and day-to-day marketing support while contributing to dynamic marketing initiatives for patient and physician audiences.The Marketing Specialist I works with guidance from the Marketing Director and senior team members to support project timelines, campaign logistics, review processes, presentations, and shared resources. This individual is highly organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow in marketing strategy, content development, and cross-functional coordination.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in related field of study preferred
Experience
1+ years of relevant marketing experience preferred; internships, coordinator-level experience
2+ years of experience in a health care setting preferred
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support execution of cancer marketing initiatives and campaigns, helping projects move smoothly from planning through delivery.
- Assist with campaign documentation, logistics, production coordination, timelines, reviews, approvals, and follow-up.
- Coordinate on-site activations, including content shoots, hospital visits, and tabling.
- Help organize and develop marketing assets, templates, reports, and shared resources to improve workflow and consistency across the team.
- Coordinate digital, copy, and creative reviews for marketing materials, videos, social content, and related assets.
- Contribute to the development of presentations, communications, and marketing materials that support patient and physician marketing efforts.
- Participate in market research, competitive analysis, campaign tracking, and reporting to support evaluation and future planning.
- Help coordinate meetings, agendas, presentations, and communication with internal and external partners.
- Coordinate and run patient story meetings and related follow-up, including scheduling, materials preparation, communication, and internal collaboration.
- Provide writing, proofreading, organizational, and administrative support for the marketing team.
- Help improve workflow, operating efficiency, and service quality across marketing projects.

Comfort with using AI-enabled workflow tools, including CoPilot
