Electrical/Mechanical Lead

Job Duties

• Under broad direction, coordinates the activities involved in maintaining and repairing down-hole tools.
• Promote services excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Provides training, guidance and mentoring, and assigns work to less experienced maintenance personnel.
• Schedules equipment to be serviced and maintained on a daily basis.
• Ensures the successful execution of maintenance processes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Diagnoses, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole operations.
• Areas of specialization within Product Service Line (PSL) specific shop operations may include: electrical aptitude, computer skills, machine tool rebuilding, surface equipment, and performing major repairs.
• Serves as the lead in the assembly and disassembly of electronic inserts, probes, and down-hole tools.
• Assists in making evaluations and recommendations for improvements on equipment based on maintenance history.
• Trains and assists tool technicians. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent education and 5 years of tool operations experience.
• Associate's degree preferred.
