Job Description

Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• To support various Fintech initiatives to build and grow our virtual banking model, the role sits with the business and may need to work closely with our internal stakeholders, in-house technology partners and/or external vendors offering broad exposure and learning experience through project assignment.
• Assist in project development on new digital initiatives, including creation of new innovative product and service, bring divergent ideas together, develop novel and adaptive thinking and contribute to innovative solutions.
• Build effective connections to collaborate with others and achieve common goals.
• Participate in end-to-end process of project development lifecycle and any internal or regulatory process using Agile methodology.
• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
• Clearly communicates with the internal customers regarding their needs and expectations through active listening and proactive questioning skills.

Requirements:

We welcome high-calibre graduates who aspire to develop a career in Financial Technology in the banking industry. We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Second-class honours) or above; with less than 2 years of work experience

  • Sound knowledge in innovative/ advanced information technology

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, leadership, as well as strategic planning skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese proficiency

  • Exhibit integrity, empathetic and inclusive behaviours

  • Mature, self-motivated and willing to learn
