Prepare materials, joints, and equipment prior to welding activities
Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and job instructions
Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required by the business
Inspect completed welds for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with standards
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and correctly
Follow welding procedures, risk assessments, and method statements
Complete job documentation, weld records, and apprentice logbooks accurately
Proactively seek feedback and coaching to improve welding technique and efficiency
Support more experienced welders and fabricators as required
