Join us as a Credit Sales Vice President

We’re looking for a motivated Credit Sales Vice President to join a purpose‑led and collaborative NatWest Markets team in Singapore, helping deliver credit solutions to institutional clients across APAC

This is client‑facing role in which you’ll help deliver best‑in‑class credit solutions to institutional clients while working closely with our trading, syndicate, research and structuring teams

What you'll do

  • Identify client needs and match them with approved credit products, tailored solutions and specialist expertise across NatWest Markets
  • Drive regional credit sales across investment‑grade and high‑yield credit, delivering trade ideas and market insights
  • Build and deepen relationships with institutional clients across commercial banks, securities firms, asset managers, insurers, hedge funds, private banks and sovereign entities
  • Work closely with trading, research, syndicate and structuring teams to support seamless execution and a client‑centric experience
  • Maintain a strong risk and conduct culture, ensuring appropriate controls, regulatory adherence and responsible decision‑making

The skills you'll need

  • Strong understanding of Asian and global credit markets, including IG/HY, sound knowledge of flow credit, syndicated loan, structured credit and rates, private credit market would be helpful
  • A proven track record in institutional credit sales with sustainable revenue delivery
  • Ability to build deep, commercial client relationships across APAC, particularly across the sophisticated markets of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China, which requires a blend of high-touch personal engagement, cultural intelligence, and strategic, long-term trust building
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across global teams
  • High standards of conduct, risk awareness and purpose‑led judgement
  • Ability to operate in a fast‑paced market environment with clear commercial focus
  • Language skills: Professional proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese and fluent English to support regional client coverage

  • Supporting effective risk management, including identifying and escalating risks promptly
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining disciplined cost management
