POSITION SUMMARY:
The function of the role is to lead the general maintenance employees in projects and facilities upkeep throughout the range while keeping the Range Manager informed on project timelines and updates. This is a hands on position with leadership responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (comprehensive, but not limited to):
· This position is a hands-on position and requires work independently and with teams.
· Lead department staff in performing all upkeep and repairs of facility grounds and equipment with regular meetings to discuss work schedules, priorities and project statuses.
· Ensure the quality of maintenance and repair work completed meets or exceeds the standards set by Range Manager and appropriate Federal, State, Code, and Local regulations.
· Maintain spare parts, inventory of plumbing, electrical, and other supplies. Record purchases in spreadsheets to capture research and cost savings.
· Follow proper procedures to protect the assets of the Company and the safety of the employees.
· Work with the Range Manager to improve processes and efficiency.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work environment including shop and grounds.
· Facilitate good relationships with Team Members, Supervisors and Owners.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure project efficiency and completion.
· Ensure quality workmanship by all team members.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· 3+ years facility maintenance experience
· Boiler experience preferred
· High School Diploma or GED

· Ability to effectively work autonomously, while always keeping the Range Manager informed of critical data.
· Practical, pragmatic, hardworking and committed.
· Demonstrates a strong work ethic, flexible with work hours, and willing to be available when necessary.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Typically, those in this or comparable roles will spend most of their time working side-by-side employees in a production and greenhouse environment with few physical hazards. The business is seasonal, and environments can at times be dusty, warm, and humid.
