Job Description

  • Support all levels of management in the MBU on Collective Bargaining Agreements, HR policies, and procedures including: preparing Labour Relations correspondence ie: unauthorized leaves of absence, coaching letters, memorandum of agreements, performance improvement plans, and termination letters.
  • Grievance Handling: Hear Step 3 grievances, conduct fact-finding, and draft formal Company responses.
  • Union Liaison: Act as the primary point of contract for five unions to build collaborative relationships.
  • Job Evaluation: Administer the Co-operative Wage Study(CWS) system across all bargaining units.
