About the Role:
As an essential team member, Park Custodians are in direct and continuous interaction with guests, team leads, and managers on a daily basis. Park Custodians are responsible for hygienic upkeep of the park and all public areas on property. Park Custodians will follow safety and service procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for employees and guests. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding safety and cleanliness standards consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash collection and removal, and restroom sanitation across indoor and outdoor amusement faciltiies.
- Inspect park grounds and facilities regularly to identify cleanliness needs; reporting any minor maintenance or other facilities needs to appropriate departments.
- Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for daily tasks.
- Perform preventative or deep-clean activities as requested.
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing signage, or addressing landscaping needs as required.
- Assist guests with questions, provide information and solutions as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles, preferably in public settings.
- Familiarity with the use of cleaning machinery and equipment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and the public.
