About the role:

As Zone Brand Lead you will be responsible for building strong brand engagement across the CEE region for a growing portfolio of Opella brands, while acting as a role model of the Opella Challenger Mindset. It owns end-to-end brand strategy and activation, including positioning, communication, media, innovation, and creative development in close collaboration with agencies. The position also drives performance by managing budgets, influencing sales and profitability KPIs, and anticipating risks and opportunities to deliver business targets. In addition, the role contributes to developing future leaders and supports effective engagement with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities :

  • Build engagement across the CEE organization to support the growth of Opella’s leading brand portfolio.

  • Role-model Opella Challenger Mindset behaviours in daily work and decision-making.

  • Contribute to developing future managers within the team and inspire growth across the wider organization.

  • Own end-to-end brand building, including brand strategy, positioning, long-term planning, brand plans, communication & media strategy, and innovation strategy for assigned markets and brands.

  • Lead full brand activation across the consumer journey, enabling consumers to take ownership of their health.

  • Drive creative development with agencies to raise communication standards and strengthen brand love, and provide input on Healthcare Professionals (HCP) engagement strategy while owning execution materials.

  • Define budget allocation and priorities, track A&P execution versus plan, monitor brand performance against KPIs (sales, profitability/BOI, innovation), and proactively manage risks and opportunities to deliver business targets.

About you:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong marketing experience within recognized OTC and/or FMCG companies at country and/or zone level, with a proven track record of delivering significant business growth and brand building (e.g. share and brand equity growth).

  • Solid experience in both strategic and operational marketing, including innovation development and execution.

  • Strong creative mindset with the ability to build effective, high-quality relationships with creative agencies.

  • Proven leadership capabilities, including management of direct reports, cross-functional teams, and demonstrated intercultural leadership skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence in a complex, matrix environment and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, including cross-functional collaboration (e.g. Supply Chain, Industrial Development, Market Research, Medical, Regulatory).

  • Experience in P&L management and accountability, with international exposure (preferred) and fluent English plus local language proficiency.
