What You'll Do as a Mental Health Technician:
- Build therapeutic relationships by providing daily support and supervision to patients
- Monitor and document behavior, conduct regular safety checks, and ensure a structured, supportive environment
- Take vital signs, assist with admissions/discharges, and escort patients as needed
- Help teach life skills and reinforce treatment goals
- Play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healing atmosphere
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or college coursework in psychology, social work, or a related field
- Other Requirements: CPR and Handle With Care certification required within 30 days of hire
