The Woodward Zone Coach is responsible for advancing snow sports, action sports, parkour, and tumbling through the delivery of safe, engaging, and effective instruction. This role works across both The Bunker and outdoor venues, coaching individuals of all ages and ability levels.
Zone Coaches create structured skill progressions tailored to each participant, utilizing the spring floor, trampolines, pump track, Launch Pad, skate parks, and bike parks/trails. Safety, fun, and progression are the foundation of every session.

Proposed hiring rate of $18+ per hour; actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

What You’ll Do:
While every day is different and responsibilities may shift based on business needs, you can expect to:
Coaching & Instruction:
Deliver instruction across all areas of The Bunker and outdoor campus
Lead group lessons, private lessons, camps, and special events
Break down skills into clear, progressive steps for participants of all levels
Spot participants on trampolines, spring floor, and pump track
Actively engage and motivate all participants
Safety & Operations:
Enforce all safety policies, including helmet use, proper progression, and Park Smart guidelines
Ensure safe setup and use of all equipment and training environments
Maintain daily logs and assist with equipment upkeep
Set up Parkski and Parkboard equipment for participant use
Facility & Team Contribution:
Maintain cleanliness and organization across all facilities (foam pits, skateparks, bathrooms, outdoor areas)
Support overall resort operations as needed—no task is too small
Participate in coaching clinics, safety trainings, and ongoing development
Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and guests
Contribute positively to team culture and act as a role model
What You Bring:
Knowledge of snow and action sports tricks, terminology, and progressions
Experience working with children, teens, and adults
Experience with trampolines, gymnastics, or similar training environments preferred
Background in camps, coaching, or instruction preferred
Passion for snow sports, action sports, and teaching
Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse groups
High level of integrity and professionalism
Ability to pass a background check
First Aid/CPR certification preferred
