We are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer Senior Specialist to join our team of PAM part of Digital & Innovation Department.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, participate in critical projects and bring impactful contributions to our business.
What you will do :
You will have the opportunity to be involved in international project for project management and technical analysis activities for all the brands managed by Flutter SEA.
You will build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java (>=17), Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
You will design, develop, and optimize microservices, ensuring seamless integration and communication between components.
You will deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability and efficient resource utilization.
You will implement and utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Elasticsearch to track application performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
You will ensure that applications adhere to best practices for secure coding and maintain compliance with industry standards.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions.
You will stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java, microservices, Kubernetes, and related technologies to continuously improve processes and systems.
What you'll bring:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
At least 4 years of experience working with Java and Spring;
Excellent knowledge of Java (version 17 or higher), the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate and JPA;
Strong understanding of design patterns and their practical application, as well as basic concepts of networking;
Experience with cloud computing and the usage of Kubernetes orchestrator clusters;
Solid knowledge of SQL, with experience in Oracle Database preferred;
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team;
Preferably, you also have:
Previous experience with message broker technologies such as Apache Kafka.
Basic knowledge of gambling market concepts and rules and/or payment gateway integrations.
Knowledge of OCI, Azure, Splunk, Graphana, ElasticSearch and Confluence platforms ( nice to have )
Awareness of security best practices in software development.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
