Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) serves as the senior leader responsible for aligning the College’s technology strategy and operations with the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Tarrant County College District.
The CTO provides district-wide leadership for enterprise technology, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), technology acquisition and deployment, and the design, implementation, and governance of Information Technology (IT) systems, processes, and policies. This role ensures the delivery of reliable, innovative, and secure technology solutions that support institutional effectiveness, student success, and operational excellence.
With responsibility for IT fiscal stewardship, the CTO oversees technology investments and the IT budget, ensuring resources are strategically allocated to maximize value and performance. The CTO also serves as co-lead for the College’s Data Governance initiative, advancing data integrity, accessibility, and informed decision-making across the institution.
This executive role is accountable for maintaining robust cybersecurity and risk management practices while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The CTO champions modern, scalable technology solutions and drives IT’s role as a strategic partner—enhancing communication, collaboration, and results across the College District.
