About the Role

We’re hiring a Marketing Operations & AI Specialist to join team.blue’s Marketing Centre of Excellence. You’re the right fit for this role if you’re great at standardizing and scaling martech solutions across multiple markets, and can improve governance, conduct recurring audits, and find & fix discrepancies with AI before they become issues.

You’ll join a regional operations team of three specialists and one manager, based across Denmark, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. Your primary focus will be the CEE markets, but you’ll also support Nordic brands when needed.

You’ll use AI to:

  • run structured audits

  • maintain standards

  • improve documentation

  • and raise the quality of our data foundation

Just as importantly, you’ll help raise AI competence across the wider operations team, showing colleagues how to work smarter with these tools, not just faster.

You’ll report to the Regional Marketing Operations Manager and work within the CoE structure. Because the CoE has only recently launched, this is a real opportunity to help shape how we work. At the same time, it requires someone who is comfortable operating in a structure that is still evolving. For the right person, the role can grow as the CoE matures and expands across the group.

What Success Looks Like

You’re doing well in this role when:

  • Your AI-driven audits are catching inconsistencies and governance gaps before they become problems

  • Colleagues across the operations team are actively using AI techniques you’ve introduced — and their work is better for it

  • Brand teams trust the operational processes you maintain because they’re consistent, documented, and reliable

  • Cross-tool data discrepancies are flagged and resolved proactively, not reactively

  • Your documentation and guides are clear enough that others can follow your processes without asking

  • You’re identifying opportunities to improve how the team works — not just executing what’s assigned

What You’ll Do

AI-Enabled Operations & Enablement

  • Use AI tools that you help select – which means you’ll need to make business cases when implementing 3rd party tools to run structured audits of operational setups, data quality, and process compliance across brands

  • Work with BlueAI – our internal LLM

  • Develop repeatable AI-assisted workflows for Quality assurance, documentation, and governance tasks

  • Help raise AI literacy across the operations team — demonstrate practical use cases, share techniques, and coach colleagues on integrating AI into their daily work

  • Identify opportunities where AI can replace manual, repetitive operational work with faster, more consistent alternatives

Operational Governance & Process

  • Maintain operational consistency across CEE brands — ensuring processes, naming conventions, and standards align with CoE frameworks

  • Run regular governance checks on CRM workflows, automation logic, and data hygiene

  • Build and maintain repeatable standard setups that regional teams can follow without hand-holding

  • Support CRM operations: workflow logic, data quality, lifecycle management, and coordination with Sales teams

Data Quality & Conceptual Tracking

  • Understand UTM structures, GA4 event architecture, and data quality fundamentals well enough to spot issues and coordinate fixes with the group platform specialist

  • Investigate data discrepancies across platforms and work methodically to root causes

  • Contribute to brand-level reporting and ensure data flowing into dashboards is accurate and well-structured

Coordination & Documentation

  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for developers and platform specialists

  • Act as liaison between central teams (Data & Analytics, MarTech) and local stakeholders (brand managers, agencies, freelancers)

  • Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases — using AI to keep them current and consistent

  • A clear communicator — you explain technical concepts to non-technical people and write clean handoffs

Must-Haves

  • Demonstrated AI proficiency: you use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) as a core part of how you work — for analysis, documentation, QA, or process design

  • CRM experience: hands-on work with a CRM or marketing automation platform (Bloomreach, HubSpot, or similar)

  • Conceptual understanding of GA4, UTM structures, GTM, and marketing data quality — you don’t need to be a specialist, but you need to understand how tracking and attribution work

  • 2+ years in marketing operations, marketing technology, or a similar hands-on technical marketing role

  • Fluent Slovak and fluent English (both written and spoken)

Strong Advantages

  • Experience enabling or training others on AI tools and workflows

  • Specific experience with HubSpot or Bloomreach

  • Multi-brand or multi-market operations experience

  • Server-side tagging experience (SGTM, Facebook CAPI)

Nice to Have

  • Looker Studio or BI dashboard experience

  • Consent management tools (iubenda or similar)

  • Google Ads conversion setup and attribution configuration

  • Additional CEE language

Growth Path

As the CoE matures, so does this role. You’ll take on greater responsibility for AI enablement across the operations pillar, drive standardization across markets, and help shape how the team works with emerging tools and technologies. For the right profile, this evolves into a senior operations role or a dedicated AI & operations leadership track.
