Position: Program Manager

Program: Eddy Shelter

Location: Middletown

Salary: $60,000/year

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 1st shift, Monday-Friday with the flexibility to work evening and weekend hours based on the program's need.

 

Program Summary:

Providing emergency shelter, housing case management, and rapid re-housing services to homeless adults and young adults in order to maintain their safety while identifying long-term housing.

 

Position Summary:

The Program Manager provides supervision of daily program operations. Responsibilities include: Supervision of direct care staff, provision of hands-on training, data entry in HMIS and communication and collaboration with community partners.

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an ability to communicate clearly and effectively, knowledge of CT Homeless and Housing Networks and service delivery models; is highly motivated, organized, and committed to providing Housing First Services. Experience working in a position that supports individuals experiencing homelessness is necessary. Experience working in a shelter/residential/congregate care setting strongly preferred.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years related experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

 

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a mandatory two (2) day New Hire Orientation that will be held in our Roscommon office in Middletown.
