About the role
In this hands‑on role, you’ll take ownership of injury management, return‑to‑work and fitness‑for‑work processes across a mixed and complex caseload. Your work will span Workers’ Compensation, Income Protection and Pre‑Employment Medicals, requiring sound judgement, empathy and strong stakeholder engagement.
This role can be based out of any of UGL’s major city offices, with flexible hybrid arrangements available.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate and guide injury management and return‑to‑work programs.
Manage Workers’ Compensation and Income Protection claims.
Liaise closely with treating practitioners and allied health providers.
Manage fitness‑for‑work assessments and pre‑employment medical escalations.
Provide trusted advice and practical support to onsite teams and use SOLVE Injury Management system (training provided).

About you
Experience in an employer‑side injury management or return‑to‑work role (ideally with an allied health background).
Able to manage a diverse caseload and prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong communicator with a practical, solutions‑focused approach.
Adaptable and collaborative.
