Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.
Government & Defence provides specialised logistics expertise, including relocation services. We work with clients at all levels of government to deliver an extremely diverse range of logistics solutions - from the distribution of healthcare products, managing the relocation of their employees, delivering fleets of government vehicles, through to helicopter rescue services
About the Role
Join Toll’s Government and Defence IT team and play a key role in shaping the next generation of digital capability. This position is responsible for driving the design, development, and ongoing support of innovative AI-enabled business solutions leveraging AI/ML technologies, Microsoft 365, and the Power Platform. With a strong focus on automation, collaboration, and operational efficiency, the role delivers cutting-edge solutions that transform how the business works.
Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will ensure all solutions are secure, well-governed, and aligned to organisational standards, while delivering reliable, high-impact outcomes for both internal users and customers.
As the AI PowerApps Developer, you will:
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications, establish governance frameworks, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with organisational policies, risk, security, and project management standards.
- Design, develop, configure, and enhance solutions using AI-assisted tools, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365, including embedding AI/ML capabilities.
- Lead upgrades, patching, and configuration changes; monitor performance; conduct testing; troubleshoot and resolve incidents; and manage vendor escalations to ensure stable, high-performing systems.
- Integrate business applications with Microsoft 365 services, AI/ML models, and third-party systems to enable seamless, end-to-end business processe.
- Partner with business units to gather requirements, support process improvement initiatives, and ensure customer and business impact is considered in all delivered work.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, engineering, product development, and vendors; contribute to IT projects; and train business SMEs to maximise value from application services.
About You
To successfully apply for this role you will need the following.
Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent fields
- Relevant industry certifications (eg: Power Platforms, Microsoft 365, Azure AI Engineer Associate)

- Experience in delivering collaborative solutions in business enterprises
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation and influencing capability to work effectively across the organisation.
