Job Description
Lake Forest Community High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Mathematics Teacher for the approximate dates listed below.
- August 24, 2026 - December 18, 2026
Description: The mathematics teacher demonstrates a passion for developing positive relationships with their students, implements current best practices of instruction, and shows a deep understanding of mathematics. The math teacher possesses the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and parents.
Salary and Benefits: $22.00/hour, $249.48/day, or up to $584.57/day based on length of assignment and status as a daily substitute or LFHS retiree. No additional benefits are associated with this position.
Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Mathematics endorsement
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an ESL endorsement (Preferred)
