Position Summary
- Provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for employed surgical medicine practices
- Drives access, growth, quality performance, and network alignment across surgical services practices
- Serves as a key partner between ambulatory operations, system hospitals, specialty services, and executive leadership

Role Specific Responsibilities
Strategic & Business Support
- Supports service line business planning, growth initiatives, and market analysis
- Assists in identifying expansion opportunities using outmigration and market data
- Contributes to program development and strategic initiatives
Operations
- Oversees day-to-day clinic operations across assigned locations
- Implements standardized workflows and improves access, throughput, and scheduling
- Ensures alignment with hospital procedural and perioperative services
Financial Performance
- Supports budget development and financial performance monitoring
- Tracks key metrics (productivity, revenue, cost) and identifies improvement opportunities
- Assists with pro formas and ROI tracking for new initiatives
Leadership
- Leads clinic managers and supports physician engagement and performance
- Assists with provider onboarding, communication, and retention
- Promotes accountability, teamwork, and service excellence
Quality & Improvement
- Supports process improvement and standardization efforts
- Monitors quality, patient experience, and access metrics
- Ensures regulatory compliance
Referrals & Growth
- Supports referral management and access optimization
- Works to improve internal capture and reduce leakage
- Assists with network development and outreach
Marketing & Analytics
- Collaborates on marketing and growth strategies
- Monitors performance data and supports action planning
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
