Description:
Special Education District of Lake County is a specialized special education cooperative providing services to students who are deaf/hard of hearing and may have other multiple disabilities. We are currently hiring for a teaching position for the 2026-2027 School Year. The position is for HIgh School grades 9-12 at Grayslake North High School. The ideal candidate would have experience and training in working with students who are deaf/hard of hearing. In addition, a background in working with students with multiple disabilities would be an asset.
Type of Employment: Full Time DHH Teacher (2026-2027), Grayslake North High School
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
Certification Type: Illinois Teaching License with Teacher of Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Endorsement
Salary: $45,381-$73.381(25-26 rates due to current negotiations of bargaining agreement)
